Hire car driver secretly tuned in to Seal dissing Boy George

On Monday, it was claimed a taxi driver secretly recorded Peter and Karl Stefanovic allegedly ‘b**ching’ about Georgie Gardner, and was shopping the tape to the highest bidder.

And now a hire car driver has come forward with his own revelation, this one focusing on a rumoured feud between Seal and Boy George.

Speaking to Triple M’s breakfast show on Wednesday, the driver claimed he ‘tuned in’ to The Voice alumni Seal divulging ‘his absolute distaste for Boy George.’

It comes after the pair allegedly suffered a tumultuous working relationship on the singing show last year – although Seal consistently told media there was no feud.

‘I didn’t realise there was rivalry, so I wish someone would notify me,’ he said at the time, adding: ‘my focus is on the [The Voice] artist.’

On Wednesday, the private car driver disputed those assertions, alleging to Triple M that Seal openly criticised the Culture Club star while en route to an event in Sydney’s Bondi.

‘As a bit of a fan of culture club myself, the conversation came up, and I asked him what Boy George was like and let’s just say, they were colourful words,’ he claimed.

The driver said he probed Seal, 55, on his comments after he ‘tuned in’ to the Kiss From A Rose singer allegedly bagging out Boy George, 56, to a female guest he had in the car.

‘One night I picked up Seal for a private event in Bondi, while he was out here filming The Voice last year,’ he began.

‘He was with a lovely bird, I don’t know who she was.’

The driver claimed: ‘He tends to have an array of women whenever he gets into a private hire car.’

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Seal for comment.

There were media reports claiming Seal may have been dating Delta Goodrem at the time, but it’s doubtful she was the woman in the private driver’s car.

Last year, Boy George told Nova’s Kate, Tim and Marty radio show that his alleged feud with fellow coach Seal on The Voice wasn’t simply put on for the cameras.

‘All my opinions are my own,’ he said, going on to add: ‘It’s one of those weird things that when you do a show like The Voice, you never know who you’re going to bump heads with.’

‘Trust me, what I DON’T say is huge,’ Boy George continued.

On Wednesday, the driver made sure to clarify that he did not record the conversation, and by ‘tuning in’ he meant ‘overheard.’

He then referenced Peter Ford’s claims that a cab driver was shopping audio of Karl and Peter Stefanovic allegedly ‘bi**hing and moaning’ about Georgie Gardner.

‘Just to throw it out there, it’s actually an offence in our industry to record conversations of people in the car,’ the private driver said on Wednesday.

‘To the extent we can’t even have a dash cam.’
