Holly Willoughby slips into cat blouse for This Morning

With Halloween a mere few weeks back, Holly Willoughby appeared to still be feeling festive as she chose her eagerly anticipated daily ensemble.

The presenter, 36, took to the screens in a black cat-embellished blouse, having shared her daily look to her grateful fans earlier on Thursday.

But despite her well put-together look, Holly’s day on This Morning didn’t go quite as smoothly, as her ‘secret location’ with Phillip Shofield, 55, was exposed mid-broadcast by the voice over man.

Dressed in high-visibility vests and helmets, the popular presenting duo teased their location as they were broadcast on live TV.

They were pictured climbing 334 stairs, and then a further flight of stairs before they asked viewers to guess where they were.

But the surprise was awkwardly ruined by the voiceover man, who bellowed the show was ‘live from Big Ben’, as they cut to the break.

And once back from the break, Holly couldn’t hide her excitement as they filmed from behind the clock’s face.

‘Look where we are,’ she gushed. ‘We are coming to you live from the clock face of Big Ben. How incredible is that.’

Phil added: ‘I can’t believe where this show takes us,’ as they witnessed the bells’ chiming in preparation for Remembrance Sunday.

As Holly enthused that it was a ‘dream come true to be filming where Peter Pan and Tinkerbell hang out’, Phil joked that it was more like ‘fairy rust’ in the Elizabeth Tower.

Meanwhile back in the studio the duo were joined by Strictly Come Dancing contestants Alexandra Burke and Gorka Marquez.

The singer, 29, admitted she was completely ‘heartbroken’ at claims she was ‘at war’ with the Spanish dancer, while Gorka, 27, affirmed his partner was ‘the only woman in his life right now’ – in adamant denial of his romance with Gemma.

The Bad Boys hitmaker said: ‘There’s no truth to any of it. We’re all having such a wonderful time, so to read things like that is heartbreaking.’

Gorka then added in agreement: ‘If they had live cameras in rehearsals, everyone could see how much fun we are having together.’
