Hollyoaks stars Emmett J. Scanlan and Claire Cooper have announced that they are expecting their second child together.
Irish actor Emmett, 43, and his wife Claire, 41, both took to their respective Instagram accounts on Tuesday evening to confirm their jovial news.
The couple, who already share a 23-month-old son Ocean-Torin Scanlan, shared a snap of Claire posing in a field as she showed off her blossoming baby bump.

Alongside the picture, Claire, who is best known for starring as Jacqui McQueen on Hollyoaks, penned: ‘Our family is growing.’
While Emmett, who previously played Brendan Brady on the soap opera, captioned the photograph on his Instagram grid: ‘Incoming…. #ScanClan.’
Their celebrity pals and fans were quick to flock to the comments sections of both of their posts to congratulate the happy couple on their baby news.

In July 2020, the couple announced that they had welcomed a son, their first child, together.
At the time, Peaky Blinders star Emmett shared a sweet black and white image of the baby boy and revealed his name was Ocean-Torin Scanlan.
He penned the caption: ‘Hey world, meet my world. Our world. Meet Ocean-Torin Scanlan.’
On July 19, 2020, Emmett announced he and wife Claire had welcomed a baby boy together, along with a sweet black-and-white snap of the newborn holding his hand.
Emmett, who also has a 20-year-old daughter Kayla, simply captioned the photograph with: ‘It’s a boy.’

During her first pregnancy, Claire shared multiple updates along the way, including snaps of Emmett stroking her baby bump and posing with prams.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2015, first went public with their romance in 2011.

Claire previously dated former Hollyoaks co-star Kevin Sacre in 2007, before he met his now-wife, ex-Strictly Come Dancing professional Camilla Dallerup.
Meanwhile, Emmett has his daughter Kayla from a previous relationship.
Claire played Jacqui on Hollyoaks from 2006 until 2013, while Emmett played the brother to Cheryl Brady from 2010 until 2013.
Claire also co-owns clothing rental boutique The Closet with co-stars Jennifer Metcalfe and Leah Hackett.
