Jennifer Metcalfe put on a sporty display as she headed out for a walk in Cheshire with her rarely seen boyfriend on Friday. 

The Hollyoaks actress, 41, who was first spotted with Josh in December 2023, wore a pair of brown fitted leggings. 

She teamed her casual outfit with a matching strappy top and layered over a black oversized hoodie. 

Jennifer, best known for her role as Mercedes McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, completed her look with trainers.

Josh opted for a bright blue Nike T-shirt which he teamed with a pair of loose fitting shorts. 

Before meeting, Jennifer had been single since 2020, when she split from Greg Lake, with whom she has six-year-old son Dayne.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday on Valentine’s day last year, Jennifer admitted: ‘I have recently been spending time with someone and he makes me feel happy.

‘I look forward to seeing him and our time together is always lovely.’

The star also admitted that prior to meeting her new man she gave celebrity dating app Raya a try, but never actually went on a date.

She explained: ‘I tried that celebrity dating app Raya but I never went on a date.

‘I prefer to meet someone and get an idea of them in real life before dating, so that app got deleted quickly.’

Jennifer has recently returned from a trip to Portugal with her co-star Nadine Mulkerrin. 

The Hollyoaks star looked incredible in a skimpy brown bikini, which showcased her toned physique, as she enjoyed a break from her hectic schedule. 

The stylish two-piece consisted of a triangle bikini top and matching high-leg bottoms and featured gold-toned hardware.

Her co-star Nadine, 31, who stars as Cleo McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, flaunted her enviable figure in a stylish black bandeau bikini top and matching low-rise bottoms. 

She completed her look with a gold pendant necklace and a black wide-brim beach hat as she enjoyed a glass of bubbly with her best pal. 

The beach club was aesthetically decorated and featured large sunbeds, a round pool, and a private dining area with a rustic table setting. 

Sharing the snaps to Instagram, Jennifer captioned the post: ‘Beautiful day ☀️ ❤️ My little fellow ratty head @nadinemulkerrin.’
