Owen Warner was locked in a furious row with a dog owner who had left his two pooches locked in a car on Saturday.
The actor, 24, had just finished his show on Hits UK radio when he spotted the dogs in the car and lay in wait for their owner.
Owen told his followers that although it was not a hot day it was neglectful to leave the two animals without the windows of the car open.
The Hollyoaks star, who is due to leave his role as Romeo Nightingale, shared a vide of the ordeal on his Instagram page.
Owen was infuriated by the situation, as he ranted to his followers about people who ‘don’t know how to look after their dogs’.

He said: ‘So I finished the radio show over an hour ago and i am now spending my sat night stood by this car because people don’t know how to look after dogs.
Owen panned to a fluffy white dog in the front seat, and continued: ‘Poor little dog was barking his head off and has now settled now. No windows [open].’
Owen then saw another dog in the back seat who had been encaged in a tiny crate.
He said: ‘These poor dogs man, look at that one in the back in that tiny little cage. I don’t know how long this car has been there.
‘I know it’s not that hot so it’s technically not as bad but it’s still bad, man. You can’t leave dogs in a car with no windows open.’
As the owner returns, Owen confronts him and says: ‘Bro, you left two dogs in there!’
Then man replies: ”Yeah, and?’, before Owen informs him: ‘I’ve called the police and RSPCA, no windows open. Look how distressed they are, man.’
The man replies: ‘What’s your f***ing problem, stop videoing me’, before attempting to grab Owen’s phone off of him.

Owen states: ‘Don’t touch me bro, I am going to video you. You have got a little cage like that, no respect or apologies to the dogs?’
‘How long have you been here?’ the man then shouts, before Owen informs him he has been there for two hours.
‘F*** off!’ the man yells, before driving the wrong way out of the car park.
Owen yells after him: ‘Learn to look after your dogs, don’t leave them in the car for that long just because you want to go for a meal.’
After the incident, the furious soap star shared a video of the exchange on his Instagram grid, and wrote: ‘I wasn’t going to post this but the lack of remorse shown and aggression towards me made me think I should, don’t get dogs if you don’t know how to look after them.’
Congratulating Owen on his confrontation, people said: ‘Well done Owen. Them poor dogs. They shouldn’t have dogs if they can’t care for them like they would children.’
‘Some people don’t deserve dogs. Makes me so angry seeing things like this. Well done you for saying something.’
‘Honestly well done, thank you for keeping those dogs safe! Xx’
