Former Home and Away star Bonnie Sveen reveals the reason why she refuses to share pictures of her twin daughters’ faces on Instagram
After stepping away from acting she has dedicated herself to being a doting mother to her twin daughters with her longtime partner, Nathan Gooley.
And Bonnie Sveen is protective of her brood, refusing to reveal her children’s faces on social media.
On Thursday, the 32-year-old, who gave birth to Myrtle Mae and Emerald Lois in 2018, was asked by a fan why she does not show her twins on Instagram.

She explained: ‘Because they don’t get a say in my use of their faces/identity or where those images end up.’
Bonnie, who is based in Tasmania, has shared photos of her daughters – most recently at a First Nations ceremony.
But she has made sure their faces are concealed in the images and has used emojis to cover them.
The reason: She explained to fans in an Instagram Q&A on Thursday: ‘Because they don’t get a say in my use of their faces/identity or where those images end up’

Bonnie noted that her work as an actor and the use of her image for promotions and such, influenced her decision.
‘Some things are sacred and that most definitely includes children,’ she wrote.
The doting mother added that her decision is not judgement of other people who chose to share images of their kids.
