Home and Away’s Lynne McGranger is every inch the proud mother as daughter Clancy marries Luke Dickson

Home and Away star Lynne McGranger’s daughter Clancy has married her fiancé Luke Dickson.

Lynne, 70, shared the exciting news to Instagram on Tuesday by posting a precious photo of the pair together on her daughter’s big day.

The Sydney native sports a focused expression as she looks over Clancy, 32, who is wearing a stunning Diane Lewis Couture gown, ahead of walking down the aisle.

‘Getting my baby girl ready for her big day. Gorgeous outfit and styling genius,’ she wrote next to the photo.

Many of Lynne’s celebrity friends were quick to congratulate Clancy on tying the knot.

‘What a beautiful photo and beautiful day,’ gushed Lynne’s Home and Away co-star Ada Nicodemou.  

‘Beautiful x,’ added musical theatre veteran Rhonda Burchmore.

Clancy is Lynne’s only child, who she shares with her husband-of-thirty-years, Paul McWaters. 

Lynne made the announcement of Clancy’s engagement to Luke on Instagram in October last year. 

‘So happy for our beautiful daughter and her amazing fiancé on their engagement. We love you both so much,’ Lynne captioned her post.

Lynne has played Irene Roberts on Home and Away since 1993, after taking over the role from actress Jacquy Phillips.

Clancy is Lynne’s only child, who she shares with her long-time husband Paul McWaters (right) 

Irene Roberts was initially written as a recurring character but was promoted to regular cast shortly after Lynne joined.

The veteran actress is one of the longest-serving stars on the Australian soap.

Her daughter Clancy looks set to follow in her mother’s footsteps, as she has often appeared as an extra on Home and Away alongside Lynne.
