A woman has plunged to her death from a Sydney apartment block balcony moments after neighbours heard screaming.
The woman was found on a footpath at the back of the units in Zetland in the city’s inner-east, below an 11th floor apartment’s balcony.
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene about 8.45pm on Monday but were unable to revive her.

A woman has plunged to her death from a Sydney apartment block balcony moments after neighbours heard screaming
She is believed to have struck a white metal fence as she landed, leaving a huge dent in the top and side of the structure.
Homicide detectives are investigating and police stormed the apartment looking for a man late on Monday night, but no one was home.
Forensics officers were on Tuesday morning also searching a fifth-storey unit.
