Hope Hicks looks stunning in grey in South Korea

The style war between First Lady Melania Trump and White House Communications Director Hope Hicks waged on as the duo joined the president in South Korea on Wednesday.

Although Melania, 47, was front and center as her husband addressed the National Assembly in Seoul, 29-year-old Hope certainly gave her a run for her money, looking incredibly chic in a grey turtleneck sweater as she sat a few rows behind the mother-of-one, and just a few feet away from White House senior advisor Jared Kushner.

All three are traveling with President Trump during his 12-day tour of Asia, while his daughter Ivanka has remained at home in Washington, D.C. where she was pictured on Wednesday morning looking rather tired as she left the home she shares with husband Jared and their three children.

Hope cut a simple but chic silhouette in her grey turtleneck sweater with puff shoulders. She once again wore her long hair down in her signature blowout while listening to the commander in chief, and was seen tossing her long blond hair over her shoulder as she fixed her earpiece during the event.

At the South Korean National Assembly, Melania also went for a classic look in an all-black outfit, featuring a black blazer cinched at the waist with a matching belt.

The first lady, who wore her hair in a blowout like Hope, was all smiles as she settled for her husband’s address.

Back in Washington, D.C., Ivanka stepped out of her house in the upscale Kalorama neighborhood, 7,000 miles away from her father and his closest aides, who include her husband, 36-year-old Jared.

The mother of three, like her stepmother, went for an all-black silhouette, with oversized black pants worn beneath a long black coat.

Her blond locks were tucked in a half updo, and Ivanka, who appeared slightly sleepy in the morning, carried an extra accessory, clutching a cup of morning coffee in her left hand.

She stepped out wearing light make-up and discrete pearl earrings, which matched the buttons of the black shirt she wore underneath her coat.

Ivanka finished off her outfit with black stilettos and a large black purse in which she had tucked away her belongings.

On Monday, the ever-glamorous Melania faced some serious competition in the style stakes, once again courtesy of Hope.

Both women showed their support for President Trump while attending a state banquet in Tokyo, however while the first lady chose a very traditional floor-length gown for the occasion, Hope spiced things up a bit, ensuring she stood out from the crowd in a chic tuxedo.

Hope wore the tailored black suit with a traditional white tuxedo shirt, accessorizing the look with an oversized black bow tie worn at her neck at the event, which was hosted by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the Akasaka Palace in Tokyo, to mark Trump’s visit.

Hope wore her long hair down in a blowout and added a splash of color to her monochromatic look with a slick of bold pink lipstick, finishing off her make-up with a smokey eye.

In contrast to Hope’s androgynous style option, Melania donned a bright red, floor-length gown with short sleeves on the occasion.

She paired the glamorous number with a low hairdo and diamond earrings, completing her outfit with a smoky eye.

President Trump, 71, who is on his first official visit in Asia, stuck to his classics with a black suit, though he did trade his trademark red tie for a blue one.

After his visit in South Korea, Trump and his entourage headed to China, where they are presently. The president previously traveled to Japan, and will later go to Vietnam and the Philippines.

His daughter Ivanka visited Japan last week ahead of his visit and also met up with Prime Minister Abe. She was originally supposed to travel with her father during his official visit, but ended up coming back to the US before his arrival to keep advocating for his proposed tax reform.
