A man has died after reportedly being pulled out of his car and stabbed – sparking a manhunt for the perpetrator.
Emergency services were called to a busy car park in Hope Island, on the Gold Coast, about 2:20pm on Monday to reports of a man being stabbed.
There they found the body of a man aged in his 30s with severe stab wounds to his chest and was declared dead at the scene.
A Queensland Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia that a crime scene has been established and investigations are ongoing.
