Fitness instructor Joseph Elkins, from Thatcher, Arizona, shocked his ER nurse girlfriend, Shannon Bingham, while she was on shift.
He pretended to be a patient who was just admitted to the emergency room before popping the question.

Bingham was in the middle of her shift when she was called into the ER to assist with a patient in respiratory distress.

‘I’m like shaking,’ she laughs as Elkins slips the ring on her finger and gives her a hug to the cheers and claps from the staff surrounding them
