Horrific moment Brazilian lawyer appears to calmly chat to his ex-girlfriend – before brutally shooting her dead in her car and killing himself

Horrifying video footage captured the moment a lawyer calmly chatted to his ex-girlfriend before brutally shooting her dead and killing himself in the southeaster Brazilian state of São Paulo.

The incident took place Tuesday night in the garage of a condominium where the suspect, Vicente Nogueira, 48, lived in the municipality of Santos.

The surveillance video shows Michelli do Nascimento, 27, speaking to her ex-boyfriend while she was pulling luggage out of her trunk.

Do Nascimento handed the suitcase to Nogueira and proceeded to remove a second one from the rear seat while he waited at the side of the vehicle.

She subsequently motioned with her hands at the lawyer as the former couple exchanged words before she stepped inside her car.

Seconds later, Nogueira could be seen pulling a gun from his left side and firing into the vehicle, striking do Nascimento twice in the face.

He then turned to the side and pointed the gun toward his mouth and pulled the trigger. The impact of the shot knocked him backwards to the ground.

The Santos Military Police recovered Nogueira’s .38 caliber gun and two cell phones.

The Santos Civil police have not yet provided a motive for the femicide-suicide, but did say that Nogueira was waiting inside the garage when Do Nascimento arrived.

Do Nascimento’s cousin, Graziela Nascimento, posted a moving Facebook tribute vowing to forever remember her.

Nascimento said she wanted to remember her cousin ‘with that beautiful and easy smile, always your laugh, your voice.

‘We never know when it will be the last time, my princess,’ she added. ‘Go in peace that there in heaven you will be with grandma taking care of us!!! Will be greatly missed.’
