This is the horrific moment a man savagely beats his girlfriend, 21, for seven minutes straight during a confronting domestic violence attack.
CCTV footage, released by a Victorian magistrate on Friday, shows Phy Nguyen, 22, strike his partner across the face – sending her to the ground at a Melbourne train station earlier this year.
The brutal attack was shown in court on Friday, as Magistrate Nooren Toohey told Mr Nguyen ‘this was an horrific assault in relation to your partner’, 9 News reports.

The 22-year-old pleaded guilty to the charges, including recklessly causing serious injury to his partner, who is also the mother of his 18-month-old child.

The attack began around 5.30am on April 16, when Mr Nguyen first hit his partner before she fled the car.
He then chased the woman up a ramp at the train station, where he launched the sickening attack.

The offender punched the young mother in the face and head, before dragging her to her feet and then pinning her to the ground.
The victim managed to run to the emergency assist button on the train platform, alerting transport staff to the attack.
However, the violence continued with Nguyen punching and headbutting his partner before two Protective Services Officers arrived.

The footage shows the victim running towards the officers as her attacker walks off, before they detain the man.
The couple reportedly split following the attack on the train station, but got back together some time afterwards.
The pair were holding hands in court on Friday and cried together when the offender was sentenced, 9 News reports.
