Horrifying CCTV footage has revealed the moment an out-of-control car ploughed through pedestrians in Sydney’s north.
The distressing video shows the vehicle mount a curb on a busy street in Chatswood on Saturday afternoon and ground to a halt after colliding with a shop front.
Unwitting shoppers struggle to react when the car slams into the crowd as bodies were flung onto the bonnet and a mother and her pram are shunted to the side.
Five out of the seven people who were struck, including a 16-month-old baby who was sent flying from her pram, were fortunately discharged on the day of the accident.
