Horrifying moment Israeli mother and her two young sons are abducted by Hamas terrorists and dragged screaming away from their home with none of the family having been seen since

Horrifying video shows the moment an Israeli mother and her two young sons are dragged from their home near the Gaza border by Hamas terrorists before disappearing.

Shiri Silberman-Bibas, 30, was hiding in a safe room with her husband Yarden and their nine-month-old Kfir and three-year-old Ariel in Kibbutz Nahal Oz when Israel was invaded by the militants on Saturday.

Armed with just a small pistol, Yarden hoped to defend his family as villages were raided – in an attack which saw hundreds of Israelis killed and over 100 taken hostage.

He texted his family ‘I love you all,’ as they hid, according to reports. Then, 30 minutes later he said ominously: ‘They’re coming in.’

The family has not been heard from since and Shiri’s parents, Yosi and Margit Silberman, who are in their late 60s, are also missing and feared abducted.

Social media footage of Shiri sobbing as she and her children are taken away by the militants has sparked anguish among the Jewish community worldwide.

The mother’s expression of terror and her sons’ images have been used by demonstrators to show the horror inflicted by Hamas.

Israel supporters at a vigil outside Downing Street in London held up pictures of the mum and her boys being taken, with one placard begging: ‘Let the children go’.

Shiri’s niece Yifat Zailer, who spoke to the New York Times, said she she will not rest until her relatives are returned home.

‘I just hope that they are alive, and that they are together. And I want them home, with me, so I can hug them tightly again,’ she said.

‘We feel that those responsible don’t know what to do, because this is a situation we’ve never been in before. That’s the feeling in Israel,’ she added. ‘It’s a catastrophe.’

Around 150 Israelis, many of them civilians, are believed to have been kidnapped by the militants in the bloodiest incursion on Israel’s territory in its 50 year history.

Footage has shown terrified children, mothers and elderly people being loaded into vehicles by heavily armed men before being taken to Gaza.

It is feared two Britons could be among those being held after the terrorist group launched its bloody surprise attack.

Now the group has announced that it will execute hostages one by one in retaliation for any new Israeli bombing of civilian houses without pre-warning.

Abu Obaida, spokesperson for Hamas’ armed wing, the IQB, said they have been acting in accordance with Islamic instructions by keeping Israeli captives safe.

He blamed the intended move on Israel’s stepped-up bombing and killing of civilians inside their homes in air strikes without warning them.

‘We have decided to put an end to this and as of now, we declare that any targeting of our people in their homes without prior warning will be regrettably faced with the execution of one the hostages of civilians we are holding,’ he said.

Gaza City has been devastated by airstrikes today in response to the surprise attack launched by Hamas on Saturday.

Israel today ordered a ‘complete siege’ of the city, cutting off electricity, fuel and food for the Gaza Strip’s 2.3 million people.
