Horror as man is SHOT in an apartment in Sydney’s east and raced to hospital for emergency surgery

A man who was shot in the leg in Sydney’s eastern suburbs has been raced to hospital.
The horrifying scene unfolded at about 9.15pm on Sunday at the 37-year-old’s apartment on Marine Parade in Maroubra.
Paramedics treated the wound and rushed him to St Vincent’s Hospital.

Police said he is in a stable condition with non life threatening injuries.
A crime scene has been established and detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
