Horror as girl, 12, has her lip RIPPED OFF by a ‘German Shepherd-type dog’ while walking home from school

  • The girl was passing through Ellerton Walk, Wolverhampton, on October 19
  • West Midlands Police have spent two weeks trying to identify the dog’s owner
  • The youngster, 12, suffered ‘life changing injuries’ during the vicious attack 
  • Anyone with information about the dog or its owner is asked to call the police

A 12-year-old schoolgirl has had her lip ripped off by a German Shepherd-style dog as she returned home. 

The victim, who has not been identified, was walking along Ellerton Walk, Park Village, Wolverhampton on Friday, October 19.

West Midlands Police have spent the past fortnight trying to identify the dog’s owner

Police said the girl suffered ‘life changing injuries’ following the attack. She will require urgent plastic reconstructive surgery. A 12-year-old schoolgirl had her lip ripped off by a dog as she walked home.

The dog is believed to be either a German shepherd-type dog or possibly a husky. 

Anyone with information about the dog or the owner is asked to contact West Midlands Police on 101.
