Two children have been found dead inside a home west of Sydney.
It’s understood the bodies were found at a home in Faulconbridge in the NSW Blue Mountains on Tuesday with a major police operation underway.
The two children are believed to be aged 9 and 11, and their 42-year-old mother is being transported to Westmead Hospital with cuts to her wrists.
Emergency crews were called to the property about 12.40pm.
At this stage police believe there is no ongoing threat to the community.
NSW Police said they have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances of the deaths.
