A hot air balloon has crashed north-east of Melbourne after stalling during an early morning flight.
Emergency services including five ambulances are on the scene at Dixon’s Creek in Victoria’s Yarra Valley.
It is believed several people were thrown from the basket of the balloon during the Thursday morning crash.
The balloon stalled at a height of 500metres before landing heavily, Nine News reported.
Footage from the scene showed passengers strewn across a field as paramedics rushed to treat them and take the injured to hospital on stretchers.
