‘Hot’ Purple Wiggle John Pearce and his pregnant wife Jessie mark major milestone as they prepare to welcome first child

John Pearce and his pregnant wife Jessie Adamo marked a major milestone this week as they prepare to welcome their first child together.

The Purple Wiggle, 33, took to Instagram on Wednesday to give an insight into his wife’s pregnancy as he revealed their baby boy kicked for the first time.

However, he shared his irritation in a tongue-in-cheek video as he revealed he had missed the milestone moment and was yet to feel a kick.

In the amusing clip, John was seen standing over Jessie as she relaxed on the sofa while they lip synced to a scene from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

‘Make it move,’ John was seen mouthing along to the line, given by Dudley Dursley (Harry Melling) in the popular movie.

Leaning down to speak to Jessie’s bump, John hilariously demanded: ‘Move!’ before adding ‘he’s boring,’ in reference to the iconic snake scene from the 2001 film.

‘Trying to feel the first kicks but always miss it,’ he penned in a caption. ‘Apparently he has been moving all day.’

John and Jessie, who tied the knot in 2019, confirmed they were expecting their first child together in a post shared to Instagram in June.

They shared a sweet video of the emotional moment they discovered Jessie was pregnant and confirmed they will be welcoming a baby boy.

‘It has been a long journey but our beautiful angel has finally been sent to us,’ they captioned the post.

‘We are so full of joy and can’t wait to meet you – baby Adamo Pearce due Dec 2024,’ they continued.

The Wiggles gushed over the couple’s happy news in a sweet message as they showed their support for Purple Wiggle John, who joined the group in 2021.

‘We’re all so happy to see The Wiggles’ family expanding,’ the beloved group’s official statement read.

‘John and Jessie are a wonderful couple, and we can’t wait to welcome their baby into our Wiggles world.

‘It will be a full house by Christmas… we may need to look at getting an even bigger Red Car!’

John and Jessie started dating in 2012, just two years after his dance-pop group Justice Crew shot to fame following their Australia’s Got Talent win.

They tied the knot in a private ceremony in October 2019, with their fifth anniversary together coming up at the end of this year.

In April, John told Daily Mail Australia how he has ‘always been excited to have children’.

‘I think fatherhood has always been in the question. I’ve always been excited to have children,’ he said when asked about potential baby plans.

‘That’s something that me and my wife Jessie have been working through the past years already.’

He continued: ‘She’s having a few health issues here and there which we’re trying to correct. Once that’s all ready to go, we’ll have children.

‘[Having children is] something we’ve both always wanted. Fingers crossed things will happen soon. We’re definitely working toward something there.’
