Houston Texans’ Kamari Lassiter suffers sickening clash of heads with his own teammate

Houston Texans player Kamari Lassiter was checked for a suspected concussion on Sunday night after a sickening clash of heads with his own teammate.

Midway through the third quarter, Lassiter was trying to tackle Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs as he sprinted down the sideline.

Lassiter narrowly avoided a huge block from Lions offensive tackle Penei Sewell but, in doing so, moved into teammate Jimmie Ward’s path.

As a result, their helmets clashed and the knock sent Lassiter hurtling to the floor.

He was immediately helped by medics and taken for a concussion evaluation.

More to follow.
