Tiffany told FEMAIL: ‘The Artipoppe is the ultimate accessory for any mummy influencer at the moment . Why? Because it’s just so beautiful. Every instagram photo is going to look stylish.’

Plain slings are no longer enough, and their trademark leopard print slings – copied by other brands- have become the latest infant accessory for mum influencers across Instagram to be seen in.

Bugaboo has long been a favourite among Chelsea yummy mummies, celebrities and royals alike.

The smaller the better, with travel influencers raving about the airplane-friendly light and nimble ‘Ant’, while the more sturdy Bee, Fox and Donkey are also favourites.

High profile fans include Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton, Victoria Beckham and Sir Elton John, as well as Pippa Middleton and her husband James Matthews who have been seen pushing their eight-month-old son Arthur in a £1,100 model.

Reports previously emerged suggesting the Sussexes were given the popular Bugaboo Fox – the same model used by Pippa and James – by a friend ahead of Archie’s arrival. The design costs roughly £1,200 once add-ons are included.

Suggestion that the anonymous friend had ‘used it herself’ led many royal watchers to speculate the mystery gifter was Amal Clooney, who opted for a Bugaboo for her own twins, Ella and Alexander, now two.

After being pictured with the £1,600 Silver Cross baby carriage at Princess Charlotte’s Christening, the Duchess of Cambridge is rumoured to have purchased a Bugaboo ahead of the birth of Prince Louis in 2018.

While celebrity fans of the brand are now commonplace, Dutch founder Max Barenbrug revealed he still remembers his first high profile endorsement.

‘Madonna was the first to have one – I went completely crazy,’ he continued.

The idea behind the company was to ‘make a stroller a hip investment, rather than an ugly necessity’, he said.

The result are designs that look as much at home on city streets as they do on country trails. And they are environmentally friendly, too.

The Bugaboo Fox Classic model comes complete with high-spec additions like hand-stitched handlebars and eco-friendly fabrics – perfect for parents used to the finer things in life.

It also boasts features designed to make the precious cargo as comfortable as possible, including a quilted micro twill lining and advanced all-wheel suspension system that sounds befitting of a high super car.

Once the ultimate symbol of luxury, the £1,600 Silver Cross baby carriage seen at Princess Charlotte’s Christening simply isn’t practical for the modern day influencer.

The most desirable pushchairs fold down to cabin size while still looking stylish and comfortable.

Tiffany told FEMAIL: ‘Influencers, celebrities and even royals are now globe trotting a lot more to get the perfect instagram photo so they need a pram thats lightweight and can be taken as hand luggage on a plane.’

‘It’s now all about traditional wear and dresses. Smock London do the most exquisite collared night dresses that Mary Poppins would certainly approve of.

‘Get rid of all your trendy hooded baby tracksuits! Influencers are embracing British tradition and dressing their children in traditional smocked dresses including brands like Anna Fie.

With baby clothes not likely to be worn for longer than a few months, buying clothes from second hand designer stores is all the rage.

Tiffany said: ‘Buying everything new is out – influencers still wants their little ones decked out in designer clothes but there’s now a new way to do it. Brands such as Kidswear collective (which sell pre loved designer clothes) is the shopping experience de jour right now.’

She told FEMAIL: ‘Clay handprints when your newborn is born are no longer in.

‘Influencers are turning away from clay handprints and instead heading to Wrightson and Platt who create beautiful bronze sculptures using your baby’s hands and feet. Pure luxury’.
