How an interior stylist created a stunning table arrangement for Easter using affordable buys

Shoppers are hosting dainty tea parties at home for Easter and creating wondrous tablescapes using affordable buys from Kmart, Big W and Myer.

Interior home stylist Afsha, from Sydney, impressed hundreds online after sharing a sequence of images of her stunning display.

Opting for a white and pink theme, she filled the table with a tea set, plates, silverware, champagne glasses and floral centrepieces.

While the display seemed to lack common Easter elements, such as tiny chocolate eggs and bunny rabbits, it inspired many online to replicate the look on a budget.

‘A little high tea over at my place. Using a few Kmart goodies of course and in time for some Easter table scapes too,’ Afsha wrote online.

In the comments she revealed the faux flowers were purchased from Kmart, vase was bought from Big W and the tea set was from Royal Doulton.

Of course, the display itself can be replicated using budget buys from other department stores.

‘Please, I absolutely NEED to know where you got the candles from. All of it looks amazing,’ said one commenter.

‘So gorgeous and right in time for my Easter inspiration .. where did you get the little bunny glasses? They’re absolutely adorable,’ asked another.

‘The napkins, napkin rings, and large dinner plates are from Target,’ Lauren said. ‘But the bunny plates and glasses are from Kmart!’

She added for more curious commenters: ‘The flowers are real. The candle holders are from Black Blaze and the white candles are from Make Scents of It.’

‘Just stunning and so pretty, all your pieces are so beautiful balanced,’ wrote one woman.

But many were happy to just admire the table settings from afar.

‘I love all the cute Easter details and those bunny napkin rings,’ wrote one woman. ‘I don’t think my husband or I have time to decorate this year – will have to settle for looking at beautiful pictures online.’

‘Between three kids and one more on the way … I am content just looking at the pretty decorations on Instagram,’ said another. ‘My children break everything!’

‘I’m so obsessed with this,’ added a third. ‘I can’t stop looking at the napkin rings.’
