Christmas miracle! Megan Gale has pulled off a $50,000 Christmas miracle for one gobsmacked Victorian charity, ‘St. Kilda Mums’

‘We were asked to help a young Mum due in January. She had been considering adoption as she has no support from the baby’s father or her own family,’ St Kilda’s Mums’ Instagram post read.

‘At this late stage in her pregnancy, and with little in the way of savings, she is not prepared to bring her baby home.’

The mother-of-two stumbled across the post on Wednesday, and without being asked or prompted, shared the story with her 407,000 Instagram fans.

She clarified in the caption: ‘PS I haven’t been asked to promote this by anyone. I just saw it and it made me feel *sad face emoji* so I had to share it.’

‘I came across this post yesterday and it made me feel so incredibly sad for those that find themselves in these positions in life,’ Megan began.

‘It put into perspective how we often take things like baby cots and car seats for granted on a day to day basis as parents and they are so desperately needed by others.’

Help significantly is an understatement, as the charity was inundated with donations to their site, exceeding $50,000 in less than 24 hours.

St Kilda Mums chief executive officer Jessie Macpherson said they were both blown away and forever thankful to Megan, who delivered a Christmas miracle out of the goodness of her heart.
