A former travel agent and mum has shared her biggest budget secret for booking a family holiday – but you’ll have to be quick.
‘I have been a family travel blogger for six years now, as well as previously being a travel agent … and I’m telling you now, this is one of the best deals I’ve seen,’ Adele Barbaro, from Melbourne, wrote in a non-sponsored Instagram post.
The mum was referring to Jetstar’s current ‘Kids Fly & Stay Free’ campaign which is running until November 22.
For each full-paying adult, one child (under 11-years-old) can fly and stay for free at a pre-selected local or international destination – a godsend for those struggling to find affordable flights at the moment.

The Melbourne mum could not believe the ‘absolute bargain’ the budget airline was offering – and prices start from $328 per adult.
‘If you’re looking for a holiday bargain, this is it!’ she said.
‘There are heaps of amazing value package deals to lots of incredible destinations, which are also packed with great inclusions like daily breakfast, activities and more!’
The package can be applied to 38 holidays including trips to Bali, Phuket, Fiji, and Singapore.
Local destinations are also included in the list, with all-time Aussie favourites like the Gold Coast and Cairns begging for travellers to see their beautiful sights.

‘[Jetstar’s scheme] makes booking family travel easy at really amazing prices,’ Adele raved.
The mum also revealed that she had booked one of Jetstar’s coveted vacations for her own family and would be travelling to a secret destination because of the vacation package.
The ‘Kids Fly & Stay Free’ scheme is exclusive to bookings made via Jetstar only.

Thousands thanked Adele for sharing the holiday package – with many preparing to book a vacation before they had all sold out.
‘Our entire family jumped on this!’ said one mum. ‘We now get to have a big family holiday for my mums 60th!’
‘I don’t care where I go just need a holiday!’ exclaimed a man. ‘Anywhere would be great to go with my family which we haven’t been able to do for a few years – this is a great deal!’
Adele recently drew sympathy from fans after sharing a hilarious experiment to see what would happen if she stopped throwing out the empty toilet rolls .
Mum and founder of Feminae Adele Barbaro, who lives in Melbourne, carried out the unsuccessful ‘social experiment’ to protest the fact she always has to pick up the empty rolls.
Sadly she now has twelve empty rolls littering her bathroom.

‘In protest, a few weeks back, I quietly stopped collecting toilet rolls and putting them in the bin,’ she explained on her latest Instagram post.
‘It has been a bit of a social experiment to see if anyone else in my family would do it.
‘They haven’t. I expect this room to eventually just completely fill with toilet rolls and my family to continue to ignore them and just change toilets and use the other toilet downstairs.’

Mum’s across Australia flooded Adele’s ‘relatable’ post with support.
‘I feel this in my soul,’ one mum said.
‘Mine pile them vertically,’ another added.
‘I do this and then I just give in,’ another woman commented.
‘We got to 42 rolls before I caved. It baffles me,’ one woman laughed.
‘Omg I did this too! I ended up losing the plot and took all three kids and the husband to the bathroom, I took the empty roll from the holder then made them all follow me to the bin where it goes!’ another fed-up woman shared.
An Australian mum attached money to rubbish around her house in a hilarious experiment to see if anyone would put it in the bin and claim the prize
Previously an Aussie mum wanted to see how often chores get done in her house when she doesn’t do them.
She taped a $20 note to an empty loo roll and placed it face down with a ‘finders keepers’ note taped on it.
After six days nobody had picked up the rubbish.
‘Needing something to inspire kids and husbands to tidy up around the house? Clearly this game hasn’t worked here yet, maybe one day,’ she captioned the images she shared on Facebook.
‘For now, I’ll keep upping the prize money, knowing it’s coming back.’
