A cleaning guru has shared her handy recipe for a three-ingredient cleaner to get rid of grime and grease in the kitchen.
Chantel Mila, who goes by Mama Mila online, uses a mix of vinegar, water and lemon juice to make her kitchen sparkle and eliminate grease.
The Melbourne mum-of-two uses the concoction on her benchtops, stove, splashback and even with a mop on her high cupboards.
She said to use the recipe during a deep clean to keep the kitchen grease-free and shining in a video posted to her popular social media channels.
In a spray bottle, Chantel combines half a cup of warm water and a quarter of a cup each of white vinegar and lemon juice.

She said it is a ‘powerful’ acidic mix that can cut through tough kitchen grease and grime leaving it shiny and deodorised.
‘The vinegar and lemon cuts through grease in your stovetop, splashback and cabinetry! The lemon leaves your kitchen smelling fresh,’ Chantel wrote.
‘Always patch test as this acidic mix may not be suitable for all surfaces,’ she added.
The helpful clip racked up almost 2million views across Instagram and TikTok and wowed many of Chantel’s followers.

‘My home always feels cleaner just by watching your videos,’ one woman said.
‘Been doing this for years,’ another wrote.
‘Isn’t the vinegar acidic enough, without having to add lemon? I find lemon leaves behind a sticky residue,’ a third asked.
Chantel replied: ‘You can leave out the lemon if you prefer, or switch it out for a lemon essential oil.’
The mum previously offered her tips for mopping the floor to leave it shining and streak-free.
She shared a recipe for her DIY cleaning solution she said makes her laminate floors sparkle.
Chantel uses a mix of hot water, dish soap, vinegar, rubbing alcohol and essential oil on her floors. She warned people should do a patch test before using the homemade solution
Chantel uses a mix of boiling water, dishwashing detergent and white vinegar in her mop bucket.
She also adds a few drops of essential oil to have the whole house smell amazing and rubbing alcohol which makes the cleaner dry super fast and removes grime.
Chantel said the solution is great on tiles and laminate but recommended a patch test to see if the mix is suitable for other floor types.
In a video posted to her popular social media channels, Chantel mixed three cups of hot water, 1/4 cup of white vinegar and a teaspoon of dish soap.
She added two more optional ingredients, 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol and essential oil.
The mum said the rubbing alcohol helps ‘floors dry faster and makes them streak-free but it’s not suitable for all floor types. It’s great for tiles and hybrid laminate floors’.
She said it also removes hidden grime while the essential oil makes the whole house smell good.
‘Use discretion if you have pets or small children,’ she added.
‘Note: every floor is different, so make sure to check if this is suitable for your flooring. Always patch test.’
Chantel’s video has been viewed more than 1.9million times across Instagram and TikTok and drew in hundreds of thankful comments.
‘Trying this!’ one woman replied and another said: ‘I have just used this wee hack, thank you’.
‘Dishwashing liquid and vinegar is such a good combo with hot water,’ a third agreed.
‘Also mop with the grain, not across,’ someone added.
‘Using natural products are always 100 times better than using chemicals, well done,’ another said.
Others warned against using hot water and vinegar on hard wood and natural timber flooring.
‘Hot water is not good for wood floors. It expands and contracts making it warp more easily,’ one viewer wrote.
‘If those floors are natural timber, you most definitely should not be using vinegar or anything acidic to clean them,’ a second agreed.
‘Natural timber floors need to be cleaned with a pH neutral floor cleaner. Otherwise the floors become dry and porous.’
