She decided on a rainbow-coloured version of her traditional lollies for the video so set about purchasing four different colours of Jelly Lite.

‘I use both sachets in the packet, empty the contents into a small tupperware container each and add a cup of boiling water,’ she said.

Then she adds 12 grams of gelatin – the ingredient that will make the lollies ‘hard’ in comparison to regular jelly – and a teaspoon of citric acid for the sour flavour.

‘Then I’ve got these moulds,’ she said, showcasing tiny ice cube-type moulds.

INGREDIENTS FOR LOLLIES

1 box of jelly lite (use both sachets)

12g of gelatine

1 teaspoon of citric acid (optional for sour taste)

1 cup of boiling water

‘So I basically just took turns taking different colours and mixing them up, and setting each layer in the fridge so the colours didn’t mix too much.

‘Then you remove the lollies from the moulds and keep them in the fridge until you’re ready to eat them.’

The Aussie mum claimed they’re sweet enough on their own without the citric acid if you don’t want a sour flavour.

‘And they will be loved by your kids,’ she added.

The lollies will last seven to 10 days in the fridge, if you can keep them away from hungry hands.

Her followers were obsessed with the finished result, which was awash of colours on the plate.

‘I’m going to do this today, they look delicious,’ one woman said.

‘Oh no my kids will LOVE these,’ said another.
