Huddersfield moved into the play-off places as they battled to a hard-fought 2-0 win over Derby at the John Smith’s Stadium on Wednesday night.
The visitors got off to a nightmare start when Richard Stearman was sent off inside three minutes for a studs-up tackle on Lewis O’Brien.
Having been reduced to 10 men, Derby held firm for over 70 minutes, but two goals in three minutes from Duane Holmes and Jordan Rhodes saw off Wayne Rooney’s brave Rams.
