Hulk Hogan makes a surprise appearance at Detroit Lions camp after supporting Donald Trump at RNC

Hulk Hogan visited the Detroit Lions on Thursday and hilariously dubbed head coach Dan Campbell his ‘new tag team partner’ as the pair filmed a promo video together.

Hogan, who spoke at the Republican National Convention last week, said that he expected ‘nothing but greatness’ and a Super Bowl from the Lions this year.

He and Campbell then shared a hug before Campbell twice told the famous wrestler: ‘You’re the best!’

Hogan then told the Lions coach that he loved him before Campbell said the same.

Speaking to reporters at another point, Hogan – dressed in a blue bandana – joked that Campbell ‘missed his calling’ as a wrestler.

‘If he was my partner, he’d give me the tag and I’d drop the leg and I’d steal all the glory!,’ Hogan said.

The 70-year-old was also asked what Campbell’s wrestling name would be, and answered ‘Dirty Dan.’

Campbell and the Lions will have big hopes for this season after going 12-5, winning the NFC North and making it to the NFC Championship Game last year.

They host the Rams on September 8 to open their season.

Hogan, meanwhile, has been in the spotlight of late as he campaigned for Donald Trump to be re-elected as president at the RNC.

The wrestling legend ripped off his shirt to expose a Trump-Vance tanktop and shouted ‘Let Trumpamania Make America Great Again’ at the crowd.

Hogan also called Trump a ‘hero’ and a ‘gladiator’ following his survival of an assassination attempt.

He added that those attending the RNC in Milwaukee were ‘real Americans,’ suggesting they should refer to themselves as ‘Trumpites’ if Trump is reelected in the fall.
