Lauren Goodger hasn’t been shy in discussing the fact that she’s received some cosmetic help in her drive towards achieving the body and looks of her dreams.
But Human Ken Doll Rodrigo Alves, 34, who has famously splashed out more than £500,000 on plastic surgery in recent years, is now sending a stark warning to the reality star, following claims she plans to spend a small fortune to adjust her looks.
He told MailOnline exclusively: ‘I think that she is lovely and pretty and I felt flattered by the fact that she said nice words about me. But I don’t encourage anyone to follow in my footsteps when it comes to plastic surgery. I’m an extreme example.’
Rodrigo, who recently revealed that he’s given up on cosmetic surgery after having four of his ribs removed, felt compelled to speak out after hearing rumours that liposuction fan Lauren, 31, plans to go under the knife a few more times.
And while he insists that he doesn’t regret having undergone the plethora of procedures, he has admitted that the downside is no longer recognising himself whenever he catches sight of his own reflection.
‘My advice to anyone is not to do what I have done,’ he said. ‘I’ve had so much surgery to the point that now I have to change all my ID. I don’t even recognise myself anymore. When I look at old pics, it is like a dead person – long gone.’
Recommending that those wishing to go under the knife do some thorough research first, he added: ‘I don’t regret transforming myself but I wish that I had the right doctors when I started it.’
Rodrigo had his ribs removed with the purpose of having his blazers fit him better – but he has now revealed that he’s embraced a completely different style after all.
He explained: ‘I’m trying to change my style, to be more casual. I have always had suits on and lately I have been wearing jeans, which make me look younger.’
His warning comes after he vowed to stop having surgery, following the realisation that any more procedures could compromise his health.
Speaking to MailOnline, he said: ‘Unless I need something done for medical procedures, I am completely done with it.
‘I have to stop with plastic surgery. There is nothing else that can be changed without compromising my health.
‘Having 60 surgeries, including face and neck lifts, pectoral implants and 4 ribs removed is enough. Now, I will only have any more surgery for health reasons or when I get much older.’
He added that what he has had done so far has taken over his life.
Before the surgery: He said: ‘Having 60 surgeries, including face and neck lifts, pectoral implants and 4 ribs removed is enough’ – pictured in 2015
‘For the past ten years, I would go to bed thinking about what plastic surgery to get and where to go.
‘I would spend hours on my computer researching in order not to make the mistakes that I made on the past.
Removal: Roddy had four ribs taken out of body in a £28k procedure at the start of the year
‘Once I had gel fillers in my arms that left me paralysed in the arms for four week, five years ago.’
Rodrigo, who appeared on FOX TV in the US on Monday, has now decided to dedicate his time to social causes such as the issue of gender fluidity.
He also wants to raise money for those that need plastic surgery for reconstructive and medical reasons in poor countries but can’t afford it.
Finally feeling content, Rodrigo, who says he was an overweight child, who was bullied for his looks, is looking forward to the future.
The Brazilian TV personality said: ‘I think that I look great and I feel good.I also feel blessed because I have been given so many opportunities in various countries to turn myself into a lifestyle brand.’
Tough: Pictured on the day of his face, neck and eye lift, Rodrigo said he questioned whether or not he had done the right thing, but said his doctor has been reassuring him
