Hunter Biden’s wife Melissa Cohen was spotted going for a swim on a beach in Brazil while her husband is thousands of miles away facing a grand jury probe into his murky finances and business deals.
DailyMail.com spotted the 35-year-old on Wednesday at the famous Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro flaunting her toned body in a small bikini.
The mother-of-one appeared to enjoy the waves solo in her yellow top and navy blue -patterned bottoms, but several Secret Service agents were nearby at all times, costing US taxpayers thousands.
South African-born Melissa is in town for the Orphaned Starfish Foundation’s benefit for the LGBTQ+ community, orphans, indigenous children and victims of trafficking and abuse. She is the guest of honor at Thursday night’s event.

When she was finally done, Melissa covered up in a beige tank top, and used the thin beach blanket as a sarong.
She later threw on a pair of denim shorts and gray Balenciaga sneakers.
Her big outing will take place tonight at the Copacabana Palace and will feature musical guests and dance performances.
Tickets range from general admission starting at $40 to $10,000.
Meanwhile back in the states, the investigation into her husband’s finances is heating up.
Just last month, Hunter’s baby mama Lunden Roberts, 30, testified before a federal grand jury investigating him for alleged tax crimes.
She joined a growing list of former business partners and associates who have been subpoenaed to give evidence in the Department of Justice’s secretive three-year probe into his financial affairs.
Roberts gave evidence at a federal courthouse in Joe Biden’s home state of Delaware for several hours.
Details of grand jury testimony remain secret and the single mom declined to speak about the case with a DailyMail.com reporter as she left.

Investigators alleged in court documents that Biden’s assets were worth a staggering $156 million, owing largely to his much-scrutinized $50,000 per month role at the Ukrainian energy company, Burisma, and his business interests in China.
Biden pleaded poverty, however, insisting that he was cleaned out by his 2017 divorce from ex wife Kathleen Buhle, with whom he has three kids.
He repeatedly failed to hand over his tax returns, reveal his home address in Los Angeles or even supply his phone number, citing the threat of media intrusion.
Biden is now under federal investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Delaware for alleged tax fraud, and the Times reported that he told an associate he had to take out a loan to pay his over $1 million tax bill. That investigation has broadened to include looking into whether Biden broke money laundering and foreign lobbying laws.
However his marriage to Melissa appears to be going strong.
The couple married in a surprise ceremony in 2019 just days after meeting one another.
They welcomed their son Beau – named after Hunter’s late brother – in March 2020 and have been enjoying a quiet life in Venice Beach, California.
