As the panic set in around them, King held his bullet wound with one hand and grabbed his wife with the other as he forced her to run from the gunfire.
Grisly photos of King’s wounds and his blood soaked bandages were posted on a GoFundMe page set up for him and his family.
King, who works at the same casino where the gunman fired his weapons from, was treated at Sunrise Hospital before being released on Tuesday afternoon.
The couple had been right in the middle of the crowd when the gunman unleashed a barrage of bullets.

‘He got on top of me. He put my head on the floor and his upper body was on top of my head. I whispered to him, ‘I’m scared.’ He was like okay, we’re going to get up. He started to get up, push-up style, and that’s right when he got shot,’ Kimberly told the NY Daily News from the hospital.
‘I saw the bullet go in. His blood splattered all over me. I was in shock and disbelief. He just grabbed me. I couldn’t move. Everything was in slow motion for me.’
As they ran for their lives, Kimberly said she saw a woman next to her go down.
‘She got shot in the face. Her lifeless body fell to floor. I had to close my eyes,’ she said.
