I have 32B boobs – I used to hate wearing bras until I tried Skims

A TikTok user has revealed how she used to hate wearing a bra and avoided it ‘at any cost’  – before finding the perfect underwear which changed her mind.

Social media user Rafaella, from New York, shared a clip online as she explained she had always hated wearing bras to support her 32B breasts.

However she said her mind had been completely changed after she bought a number of bras from Skims, saying: ‘This is like my fifth [Skims bra], I’m wearing one right now.’

The TikTok user, who has 50,000 likes on her videos on the platform, said: ‘There are no lines, no crazy gaps, no spillage.’

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian launched the Skims in 2019, with a focus on offering shapewear in an inclusive range of sizes and colours.

Sharing the clip, Rafaella explained: ‘I hate wearing bras, I will avoid them at any cost.’

‘Let’s talk about bras, anyone else hate wearing them?’ she asked in the caption.

However she added that she had changed her mind when she tried a Skims bra for the first time.

In her video, Rafaella explained she had bought five different bras, adding, showing off her $48 wireless form T-shirt demi bra, which she said she owns in several colors.

The TikToker also revealed her latest Skims bras, the $58 weightless demi bra in the color Clay and Onyx.

However she said there was one discrepancy between the different bras.

‘I’m a 32B and the size does vary depending on which bra you get,’ the TikTok user said.

‘Now the [wireless form T-shirt demi bra] was a 32B and the [weightless demi bra] I got is a 34B,’ she told viewers.

She went on to describe the different bras to her followers, with one saying: ‘It’s a little bit mesh and does cover [well]. Honestly, I have worn these with shirts and they’re totally fine.

She concluded: ‘They’re all super soft, super comfy. I don’t know what Miss Kimberly puts in these but keep doing your thing girl.’

The line originally launched under Kimono in 2019 and came under fire for cultural appropriation of the traditional Japanese garment.

Kim told WSJ Magazine that the reaction was something she didn’t expect, and that her intentions were ‘innocent.’

‘You would think we would have obviously thought it through a little bit deeper,’ she told the outlet.

‘I’m the first person to say, “Okay, of course, I can’t believe we didn’t think of this.” I obviously had really innocent intentions. But let’s listen. And I want to really listen. And I want to really take it all in.’

It was revealed in 2021 that Kim had a ‘very clear idea’ of how she wanted to shape her brand.

Emma Grede, the founding partner of SKIMS and co-founder of her sister Khloe Kardashian’s Good American apparel label, explained that the reality star knew exactly what she wanted to achieve from the get-go.

She said in June: ‘SKIMS was Kim’s idea since she was making her own shapewear back in the day by dyeing it with tea bags to match her skin tone. She had a very clear idea. And I imagine that seeing what I did with Good American made me look like a good and attractive business partner to her – there’s a trust level there. Kim can choose to work with anyone she wants in the whole world, but I really know product.’

Emma hailed both brands for their dedication to ensuring they are as size-inclusive as possible.

She added: ‘I’m really proud of both SKIMS and Good American for so many different reasons. But mostly, if you walk out on the shop floor SKIMS and Good American will be the brands with the largest size range by far.’
