According to the report, buyers from as far as Greece and France were on the phone showing interest in the eastern suburbs property.
Meanwhile, The Daily Telegraph reports that the property has now been leased for a whopping $1800 a week.
Thorpe, known as Australia’s greatest ever Olympic swimmer, was a five-time gold medalist.
He rose to fame at age 17 during the Sydney Olympics in 2000, when he won five medals, including three gold.
