Police helicopter footage has captured shocking footage of an out-of-control ice addict threatening a woman with a knife and charging at police officers.
Wyong resident Danny Bruce can be seen threatening a nurse with a blade while under the influence of drugs.
The video shows Mr Bruce’s mother attempt to calm him before he charges at three police officers who attempt to restrain him.

The footage initially shows Mr Bruce holding a knife to the nurse after she called the police.
Officers can then be seen walking through the garden towards Mr Bruce, who’s mother is attempting to calm him.
Mr Bruce then suddenly charges at the police, knocking one to the ground as well as his mother.
‘Uh oh, here we go,’ a police helicopter voice-over can be heard saying.
The three officers can then be seen attempting to restrain a rabid Mr Bruce, with capsicum spray used to help subdue the ice addict.

The police helicopter unit are being praised for being able to witness the incident and immediately call in backup for the officers as they continued to restrain Mr Bruce
One of the officers cut his hand during the scuffle.
‘He’s quite a big unit. It did take a number of police to subdue him on the ground,’ Senior Constable Rebecca Sherwood told Seven News.
The police helicopter unit are being praised for being able to witness the incident and immediately call in backup for the officers as they continued to restrain Mr Bruce.
Mr Bruce was sentenced to three years on a good behaviour bond for assaulting two police officers and resisting arrest.
