Iggy Azalea uses industrial solvent to get slime out of her hair

Iggy Azalea suffered a parenting disaster on Saturday. 

The Australian was forced to use solvent to get slime out of her hair after her two-year-old son Onyx plastered her with it. 

‘Someone gave Onyx slime and I wanna f***ing cry’ she captioned an image shared to Instagram Stories which showed the green goo in her blonde locks. 

She then shared a second photo of a can of solvent designed for use with wigs and hairpieces. 

‘B**ch the way the internet lied to me about how to get slime out. Liek peanut butter,’ she wrote, indicating she had tried other methods first. 

‘Thank f**k I said let me see if my regular wig glue remover will work on this s**t. Bingo’ she added.

Iggy then explained she thought she would have to cut off the front part of her hair. 

‘My hairline is a little broken now but I didn’t have to cut a bang and if you have ever seen me rock a bang you know that’s not a happy ending’ she added.

The singer shares Onyx with her ex, rapper Playboi Carti, but announced she’d be raising her son ‘alone’ following their split in October 2020.   

Iggy celebrated her 32nd birthday at her Los Angeles home on Wednesday. 

The Kream rapper posted to Instagram to share footage of herself looking glamorous while seated at a dining table with two cakes and statement balloons.  

In her heartfelt caption, Iggy, real name Amethyst Amelia Kelly, revealed that she’s no longer giving energy to situations that don’t serve her.

‘Honestly I was feeling down this morning on my birthday. Notttt because I’m 32, I love being a grown a** woman so much!’ she wrote.

‘But because part of that means knowing when to remove yourself from situations that aren’t adding value to your life,’ she continued. 

‘Andddd that’s hard as F**K sometimes! But this year, I’m betting on me more than ever. Betting that any space I clear, is only to welcome deserving things and people into my world. I know if I do that… I’ll always be happy!’
