A man has died after being shot by police during a drug bust at a rural motel.
Officers arrived at the Country View Motel in Ilbilbie, south of McKay, on Monday morning to conduct the targeted drug operation. Shots were fired at about 11am.
Multiple paramedics were present at the scene and performed CPR on the man shortly after however he died at the scene.
He was the only person paramedics attended to.
A spokesperson for Queensland Police told Daily Mail Australia that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
