I’m 21 and I’m pregnant by a man more than twice my age – I’m already a stepmother to his two teenagers

A woman dating a man who is more than double her age has announced that she is pregnant with their first child.

Ellie Liptrot, 21, met her boyfriend Mark, 44, when she was just 18 years old and it wasn’t long until they became besotted with each other.

The content creator, from Wales, was on a Christmas night out with her friend three years ago when she came across Mark, 23 years her senior, and they moved in together after dating for just a couple of months. 

Mark is already a father to two teenagers from a previous relationship, Marcus, 12 and Isabelle, 16, who refer to Ellie as their ‘step-mum’. 

In a previous video, Ellie said: ‘We were both in the same town and it’s very weird because would have definitely crossed paths at some point in our lives.’

She then said that Mark used to own a smoothie shop, adding that she used to go in there as a child.

The influencer has now revealed to her 166,000 followers on TikTok that she is expecting a baby with Mark in 2025.

She wrote the caption: ‘When our family of 4 becomes a 5.’ 

The clip, which racked up 2.9 million views, showed Ellie holding up a sonogram of their child with Mark holding onto her stomach.

The loved-up couple then share a kiss on the lips before the camera switches to an intimate gender reveal party with Marcus and Isabelle in front of their Christmas tree.

Ellie and Mark also shared their gender reveal with their followers, in which the couple held a confetti cannon and Mark’s teenage children held up a cake which was cut into to reveal the gender.

When the confetti and the inside of the cake were revealed as blue and the entire brood looked overjoyed with happiness, including Marcus at the news he was getting a baby brother.

The pair have since started their nursery, which has been painted blue, and have a collection of newborn onesies and toys ready for their son’s arrival.

The clip racked up more than 170,000 likes, with many people congratulating the couple, but others expressed their shock over the news.

One wrote: ‘I love how much his kids adore you! My stepmum was vile. It’s so lovely to see.’

Another penned: ‘Awww Ellie, you’re an incredible stepmum already. You’re going to be an amazing mother.’

A third said: ‘I have nobody to talk to about this.’ 

A fourth commented: ‘I’m genuinely so happy for you all! You’re going to be such an amazing mum the way you are a step mum. Your going to be such a sweet family.’

Ellie has continued to film her pregnancy journey and recently surprised her step-children with a holiday to Tenerife.

The pair have jetted off to sunny Spain today but some followers questioned why the two teenagers were not back at school after the Christmas holidays.

Ellie filmed both herself and Isabelle having their nails done in a salon before getting a McDonald’s before buying last minute clothes for their trip.

But she then said that her ‘pregnancy hormones kicked in’ and she had a breakdown because she looked like a ‘big big person’ and none of her clothes fit her.

Mark then drove them both to the Trafford Centre and Ellie said she managed to get a few bits but admitted it was ‘so hard shopping for a bump’.

Ellie then bought a dress from Skims for £78, adding that it was the ‘best thing’ she had tried on all day.

In July last year, the couple flew out to Thailand to celebrate Ellie’s 21st birthday and she updated followers on her haul of presents, the first of which was a Gucci ring.

She was also whisked away to the Cafe Del Mar beach club in Phuket for her birthday and Mark’s children got Ellie a step-mother birthday card and treated her to all of her ‘favourite things’ at 7/11. 

Altogether, Mark spent around £1,227 on gifts for her birthday, but on top of that, Ellie also wanted a Ninja Creami – which is an ice cream and frozen dessert maker that retails for around £200.
