And it was certainly a dramatic show on Thursday as Naughty Boy, 36, locked horns with Frankie Bridge, 32, after he took umbrage with her labelling Main Camp ‘our camp’ when talking to the DJ, who had come from The Clink.

During the episode, viewers watched as Ant and Declan Donnelly introduced Coronation Street’s Simon, 47, (Steve McDonald) and and former EastEnders star Adam, 53, (Ian Beale) to the campmates as they arrived at the Castle Scare Fair trial.

Dec explained: ‘There are two very important people here tonight and I’m not talking about me and Ant. Please welcome your new campmates, the new Lords of the Castle – Simon and Adam.’

As the camp cheered, Ant explained to the Lords: ‘You have certain privileges.

‘But first this evening, you must earn their respect and you need to win them food to eat tonight. The way to do that is by taking on a trial.’

Dec told the pair they had to make their way through five round with 12 stars- one for each respective campmate- to be won.

The first round was called the Testicle Ticket Booth.

Ant explained: ‘You’ve got 2 minutes to get all of the sheep’s testicles from one tray into another using only your mouths. If you drop a testicle on the floor, you may pick it up with your mouth and carry on.’

As they both completed it, Ant enthused: ‘You can tell they’re from the soaps as they give you drama.’

Next was the Coconut Cry where they were given two minutes to knock the coconuts off the stands. While they played, they were showered with critters but were undeterred and managed to complete it.

Later, they put their heads in boxes for a Queen of the Castle round which had snakes were in the boxes.

The soap stars had to use their mouths to get the stars off of their threads. Adam missed out on one star in the time limit.

For the final round Adam and Simon had to down a drink of blended cow’s anus. Both finished the drink earning them a total of 11 out of 12 stars for camp which meant the celebs were treated to quail for dinner.

Tensions rising: Elsewhere in the episode things became frosty between Naughty Boy and Frankie. The pair had earlier competed in the Castle Coin Challenge at the Castle Post Room and won flapjacks

And while things seemed amicable, Naughty Boy later criticised the Main Camp for not cooking rice correctly.

He said to Danny: ‘Rice pudding is supposed to be a sweet dish, that was difficult for me to eat. It’s not supposed to be rice pudding, it’s supposed to be rice that goes with beans.’

In the Bush Telegraph Naughty Boy said: ‘I’m quite passionate about cooking and maybe this isn’t the place to be passionate about cooking. I don’t want to be the one who says it, I’m just being real, it’s not rice.’

‘If we’re having rice and beans, people would prefer to have rice and beans, not rice pudding and beans. I don’t know if I’m going crazy or overthinking.’

Discussing it with Naughty Boy, Frankie said: ‘You’re just coming into our camp and this was just what we did…’

Naughty Boy interrupted: ‘No, this is our camp. That’s wrong what you just said.’ To which, Frankie said: ‘How have I ended up in a discussion over something that’s…’

Emotional: Frankie was left in tears as she said: 'I'd rather not have rice at this point. I just hate any confrontation. Now I'm like, "Oh my god, did I say something bad?" Now I've offended him¿ why am I talking about rice'

But the DJ interrupted: ‘It’s not your camp. ‘Don’t say things like you came to “our” camp.” Frankie responded: ‘Don’t be like that.’

As Frankie walked away in tears, Naughty Boy said: ‘Frankie said something where it just implied we just joined their camp.’

Upset, the songstress said to Kadeena Cox outside: ‘Why can no one talk about rice in here? I can’t deal with it.’

She added: ‘I’d rather not have rice at this point. I just hate any confrontation. Now I’m like, “Oh my god, did I say something bad?” Now I’ve offended him… why am I talking about rice. I’m someone who avoids confrontation at all costs. I just hate it. I don’t understand what the issue is.’

In the Bush Telegraph, Naughty Boy said: ‘Shall we just say this is like a teething period? It just made me think, maybe we are the outsiders who have now come in.’

And the musician became frustrated when it came to prepping the food at mealtime, after Louise stopped chopping the vegetables.

While the campmates gathered round for a meal, Naughty Boy ended up going to bed without eating.

He said: ‘I don’t understand why she would just do that. Louise just starts chopping and then Louise just dropped the night and walked away.

‘I don’t have the patience to be in the room if this was in the real world I would have got a taxi out of there.’

Speaking to Richard, he said: ‘I found that very rude.’

Kadeena reflected in the Telegraph: ‘I’m not quite sure what happened with Naughty, he was like: “let me and you cook” and then was like actually “you and Louise cook. Im tired, I’m going to bed.

‘I’m not sure what he’s got annoyed about. He seems to sleep more than me which is impressive.’

At the end of the show, Ant and Dec revealed to the camp that The DJ was picked by the public to take part in the next trial.

Thursday’s episode comes after bosses faced a major blow when Richard was forced to leave the show after being rushed to hospital with an unknown medical condition.

The broadcaster, 65, who was paid an estimated £200,000 to star in this year’s competition, was taken ill hours after participating in a gruelling trial and complaining about the castle’s freezing temperatures.

In a statement Richard, who was believed to be treated at Glan Clwyd Hospital in Rhyl, confirmed he had to quit the series after breaking the show’s ‘Covid bubble.’

Richard’s daughter Chloe, 34, revealed that her father is ‘livid’ he can’t go back into the I’m A Celebrity camp after his shock hospital dash.

Richard said: ‘Hello all! Richard here – firstly just to say that I’m absolutely FINE. I started to feel briefly unwell in the small hours of the morning and was taken to hospital as a precaution.

‘By leaving the camp, I had consequently broken the Covid ‘bubble’ and as such I’ve had to leave the castle and all the wonderful celebs that remain in the camp.

‘Obviously I’m gutted to be leaving so soon but the safety of all the campmates is the number one priority. I’m incredibly excited to watch their journey continue…even more so at the prospect of being somewhere a little warmer than Gwrych Castle…

‘Thank you to everyone who supported me on my brief but completely unforgettable adventure – I’ve made some great friends and honestly had the time of my life.’

I’m A Celebrity continues on ITV on Friday night at 9pm.
