The old stars returned as the final four took on the famous celebrity cyclone challenge and as they walked back into camp were surprised by their pals.

Ant and Dec then arrived and sent the final four off for some food. While gone, the ex-campmates learned they had a job to do.

Dec said: ‘We haven’t just brought you back for a chit chat… you’ve actually got a very important decision to make.’

Ant added: ‘You’re going to turn our final four into the top three. You’re going to be doing that by deciding, as a group, who deserves to be in the final. You need to pick a top three and the person who isn’t in the top three will leave camp today.’

Stunned by the news, Toff said: ‘It’s a really awful, awful thing to have to do.’

Janice added: ‘It’s a terrible thing to do.’

As they tried and reach a decision, Joe said: ‘Listen, if we didn’t have to do this, we wouldn’t, we’d have them all in the final.’

The episode was left on a cliff hanger as Phil Tufnell got set to announce who they were sending home.

Earlier in the episode Countdown star Carol Vorderman, 62, and royal butler Paul Burrell, 64, headed for home after coming last in the Vile Vineyard trial.

As she left Carol said: ‘I have loved it. It’s been so different as people have done it before so they are more savvy to it! We are going back to the hotel now for lobster and champagne! The trials have been tougher definitely.’

Phil added: ‘It has been life changing and a rollercoaster journey. It will stay with me for the rest of my days!’

For Phil and Carol Vile Vineyards was their second Trial of the day, and while Carol was game at the start, Phil admitted: ‘I’m running on empty. I’m going to have to pull something out of somewhere.’

Meanwhile, the other campmates said it was nice to do something all together, with Myleene quipping: ‘We’re one big happy family.’

Arriving at the Trial clearing Ant and Dec explained what fiendish challenge faced them that day in the form of ‘Vile Vineyard’.

They were faced with head holes, bobbing barrels and side barrels. They had to race to retrieve keys in each to make it to the fourth zone, ‘The Fish Eye Squeezer’.

Here, using only their mouths, they had to squeeze juice from fish eyes into a wine glass.

Once they’d reached the required amount of liquid, the light turned green and they had to drink the contents of the glass.

The two slowest campmates then left camp for good.

It came after on Wednesday night’s episode former Corrie actress Helen Flanagan, 32, and EastEnders icon Dean Gaffney, 45, said their goodbyes after coming last in the Survival Trial.

It came after Joe Swash was eliminated from I’m A Celebrity South Africa on Tuesday night’s episode.
