GK Barry and Dean McCullough were left ‘mortified’ as they took zero stars back to camp after failing the latest Bushtucker Trial during Wednesday night’s episode.
The duo were voted by the public to take on the Down In The Drumps trial on Tuesday, in order to earn meals for the group.
The podcast star, 25, and radio presenter, 32, were forced to face their fears, with GK, real name Grace Keeling, getting submerged in a large tank.
At first thrilled they could take part together, GK rejoiced: ‘Ah, I’m so happy that I’m with you, ok that’s fine! I’ve got a mate.’
Melvin Odoom was also feeling confident as he revealed: ‘They’re gonna come back with 10 stars, guaranteed!’
As GK and Dean headed down to the Bushtucker Trial, the podcaster confidently quipped: ‘Let’s give it large!’

After they arrived at the trial clearing, Ant and Dec pointed towards two tanks placed on top of one another.
They revealed that one of them would be positioned in the top, whilst the other would go in the bottom.
The person in the top section, which was decided to be Dean, had to feel in the hell holes to find keys, with gold tags attached.
They they had to be dropped in the pipe down to the person in the bottom, GK, who could then use the keys to unlock the 10 available stars for camp.
To throw them off, there were also silver keys available, which don’t unlock anything.
While the Trial was ongoing, the duo learned that water would flow through the top section into the bottom section, where it would be slowly filling up.
As the two got into position to begin, GK admitted: ‘I have no words.’
The podcaster burst into tears as she frantically attempted her part of the terrifying trial.
After Dean managed to find his first gold key, he passed it down the pipe to GK, but she couldn’t catch it and as it disappeared into the water filling up below her, she vowed not to move from her position.

With time running out and two minutes left, GK finally conquered her fears and dove down, trying to unlock one of the padlocks with a gold key she had.
Unfortunately though, she was only able to hold her breath for a short time, and frustratingly it appeared that every padlock she tried didn’t seem to open.
With Ant and Dec counting down the seconds to go, Grace also got spooked by an eel and screamed: ‘I’m done, I’m done!’
Defeated with zero stars won, GK and Dean were forced to go back to camp empty handed. With GK admitting: ‘I’m mortified to go back and tell them.’
Fans of the show rushed to X to brand the duo as ‘useless,’ while others defended them and insisted the trial was ‘impossible’.

It comes just after Dean broke down in tears as he quit The Sinister Sarcophagus Bushtucker Trial during Tuesday night’s episode of the show.
It all got too much for Dean during the terrifying trial which saw him trapped in a small confined space.
As he made his way to the trial area, Dean said: ‘I’m freaking out!’ as Ant and Dec introduced him to a mummy figurine which he was locked into until he shouted: ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
Dean was tasked to answer a series of Egypt-related questions in order to win 10 stars for camp.
At first thrilled they could take part together, GK rejoiced: ‘Ah, I’m so happy that I’m with you, ok that’s fine! I’ve got a mate’

For every question he answered correctly, a star was then lowered down which he had to release using only his mouth within 30 seconds.
Dean said: ‘You’re so extra this series, so extra! I went to Egypt years ago, but I wasn’t paying attention.’
Entering the sarcophagus, he admitted: ‘This is my worst nightmare because I can’t get out.’
As the Trial kicked off, sand surrounded Dean’s legs and was joined by giant mealworms and crickets tipped into his head compartment.
Despite answering two correct questions and successfully releasing the stars, Dean said: ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
Viewers shared their shock after Dean quit the trial, with some admitting ‘it was only sand!!’
‘As if Dean said “I’m a celebrity get me out of here” because of some sand!!! #ImACeleb’,
