ITV confirmed that I’m A Celebrity will finally return to its usual home in the Australian jungle this Autumn for the latest instalment of the long-running show.
Ant and Dec are set to welcome 12 new famous faces into the Australian camp in November.
In a statement, ITV said: ‘Autumn also brings I’m A Celebrity which makes a welcome return to ITV from the Australian jungle.’
The 2021 series saw Danny Miller crowned as King of the Castle, while Giovanna Fletcher was the first person to win the Welsh version of the show the year before.

It comes after it was reported that an I’m A Celebrity spin-off version of the popular ITV show is set to be filmed in South Africa, running as a stand alone show in addition to the usual annual event.
Myleene Klass and Paul Burrell are among the stars who are said to have been lined up to appear on the upcoming all-stars version of the show.
And TV bosses are said to be delighted to be coming to deals with a number of stars, with an insider telling the Mirror: ‘There are plenty who weren’t too scarred by the whole experience to give it another go with a bunch of different campmates.’

‘The campmates will be doing trials and living in the camp environment, but with fresh and exciting new twists, and they will have a hand in their own destiny through a series of internal votes and challenges.
The spin-off won’t have any sort of public vote as in other series.

It’s thought the new spin-off will be a slightly shorter format of two weeks instead of the usual three.
Comeback: Carol Vorderman (left) and Helen Flanagan have reportedly been lined up to appear on the upcoming I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! spin-off
Carol Vorderman has reportedly been lined up to appear on the upcoming spin-off after she entertained viewers with her flirty banter and jungle showers during the 2016 series.
The former Countdown host came eighth, lasting 18 days in the Australian jungle alongside winner Scarlett Moffatt.
A source told The Sun: ‘Carol was always top of producers wish list: in some ways she was the perfect campmate.
‘She was funny, outspoken and intelligent and let’s just say she gave the younger girls a run for their money in the jungle shower.
The insider continued: ‘Her flirtations with Joel were one of the big talking points of the series so signing up Carol for All-Stars looks like a no brainer.’
Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has also been tipped to be joining the line-up.
According to The Sun, the 32-year-old actress is set to make her return to the hit series, exactly 10 years after her first stint on the show.
A source told the publication: ‘It has taken months of negotiations because it is a big decision to spend so long away from her young children but she has finally come around to the idea.’
Other celebrities lined up for the All-Stars series include radio presenter Myleene Klass, Gillian McKeith – who famously fainted on the show in 2010, prompting her fellow campmates to question whether the incident was genuine or if she’d put it on for the cameras – and Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder.
One star who won’t be returning to the jungle, however, is Christopher Biggins who has no plans to return to the jungle, admitting he isn’t ready to risk giving up his crown.
Fame game: Other stars said to be in the running include former You Are What You Eat star Gillian McKeith, 62 (right), and Happy Mondays band member Shaun Ryder, 59 (left) (both pictured in 2010 on the show)
The actor, 73, shared that after winning the show during his first stint, anything else would ‘only be disappointment’.
Sharing that he turned down the opportunity to appear in the all-star spin-off show, Christopher told The Mirror: ‘I wouldn’t want to risk losing my King of the Jungle title, I’ve done it and I loved it so it can only be disappointment.’
Adding to the dismissal of any potential appearances on the South African filmed show, he continued: ‘Winning because you were voted by the public was so special, you can’t top that, referencing the axe of the public vote for the spin-off.
While Christopher may not be headed for a return, television bosses are said to be delighted to be coming to deals with a number of stars, with an insider telling the Mirror: ‘There are plenty who weren’t too scarred by the whole experience to give it another go with a bunch of different campmates.’
