Network Ten has dropped some of Australia’s biggest celebrities into the African jungle.
After posting clues to their social media accounts each week since December, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! finally revealed its star-studded lineup on Sunday night’s premiere.
Australian Idol star Shannon Noll was the first star announced for the jungle.

‘I am Shannon Noll and I’m a singer songwriter,’ he said as he made his entrance.
‘Most people would know me from coming second. I came first out of all the losers!’ he joked.
Next up was iconic eighties pop star Tiffany, best known for her 1987 hit I Think We’re Alone Now.

There was an awkward moment when she met Shannon, with the flame-haired songstress admitting that she had no idea who he is.
‘I don’t know his music,’ she confessed.
‘I feel really bad but I am going to check it out and just talk to him as a fellow musician.’

The third star to enter the jungle was Jackie Gillies, best known for her role on The Real Housewives of Melbourne.
‘I so down to earth. I am not a diva,’ she bragged as she introduced herself to Shannon and Tiffany.
Jackie, who also works as a professional psychic, then claimed to see one of Tiffany’s dead relatives behind her.

Next up was comedian Peter Rowsthorn of Kath and Kim fame, and ex-Hawthorn footballer Josh Gibson.
Busty model Simone Holtznagel was next, adding some much serious sex appeal to the African jungle.
‘I am terrified about no make up,’ said the Playboy babe. ‘That’s like part of my daily ritual!’

She then had footballer Josh carry her over a puddle to ensure that her feet wouldn’t get wet.
A-list Australian actress Kerry Armstrong was next to make her entrance.
The 59-year-old spoke with The Sun-Herald on Sunday about her reality show appearance being the ‘third act’ in her accomplished career.
The star of acclaimed films like Lantana and Oyster Farmer explained she opted to do the show because her three sons have left her an ’empty-nester’ at home.
‘This feels like a third act. I can do this gracefully, or I can do it in the wildest way that I can,’ she offered.

The 25-year-old tennis player, currently ranked world number 143, claims his decision to star on the series is not motivated by money, saying he instead sees it as an attempt to rehabilitate his tarnished image.
Speaking with The Daily Telegraph on Sunday, Bernard stated: ‘People know me as this tennis player that is crazy and has done this or that, or has problems.’

‘Hopefully I get the chance to change their image about me on this show and that is one of the reasons I’m doing it.’
For his part on the program, the Gold Coast based star has already flown to the South African jungle ahead of Sunday night’s live premiere.
In his interview with The Telegraph, the tennis ace also made sure to state that he wasn’t interested in the pay packet he would receive from Channel Ten.
‘It is not for the money. I am doing this because it is something I always wanted to do in my life,’ he enthused.
His comments come just weeks after the The Herald Sun reported the former world No. 17 had allegedly been ‘bragging’ about being cast for a seven-figure sum.

In 2006 it was Mundine who claimed the top position and over ten years later Green took back first place with a controversial win last year.
There was talk of a third fight being on the horizon, but that one may have to begin and end in the jungle – with filming for the show set to commence next week.
