I’m A Celebrity host Julia Morris, 56, reveals shock cancer diagnosis with confronting image of her surgery

Julia Morris revealed a shocking cancer diagnosis on Friday.

The I’m A Celebrity Australia host, 56, posted a confronting photo to Instagram which saw her laid up in hospital with a huge bandage across her face.

Though she put on a brave smile for the camera, the TV presenter revealed she had a ‘big skin cancer removed’ from her face, marring one of her eyebrows.

‘How is your 50+ [SPF] working out for you? I wish I had used it more in my life. Another pretty big skin cancer removed this week,’ she captioned the picture.

‘Going to have to up my eyebrow drawing game.

‘The Aussie sun is no joke & while I lived like a pig on a spit in my 20’s, I’m absolutely suffering the consequences now.

‘Please slip slop slap & as always, early detection is the key.

‘Big love to Dr Sheridan & the glorious team at Phoenix Dermatology & the Avenue Hospital for all the TLC this week Jx’

The alarming photo Julia shared saw a large white bandage wrapped around her forehead and eyebrows.

She looked as though she struggled to open one of her eyes and her short locks had been swept back from her face into a red hair net.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Julia for further comment.

More to come.
