I’m A Celebrity’s Adele Roberts washes ‘fish guts’ from hair at luxury hotel after jungle eviction

She was the first star to be evicted from the I’m A Celebrity jungle during Friday’s episode of ITV show after after an error meant only phone votes were considered.

But Adele Roberts allowed herself some relaxation time on Saturday as she enjoyed a warm bath at the luxury Versace Palazzo hotel.

The defiant Radio 1 DJ, 40, posted the Instagram snap of herself washing ‘fish guts’ out of her hair in the glorious bath tub.

Finally: Adele Roberts, 40, allowed herself some relaxation time on Saturday as she enjoyed a warm bath at the luxury Versace Palazzo hotel after her departure from I’m A Celebrity jungle

She was in high spirits despite her eviction from the jungle coming after presenter Ant McPartlin revealed that votes made via the ITV app would not be counted.

But Adele’s girlfriend Kate Holderness, 35, wrote in a caption alongside her photo: ‘She’s still washing fish guts out of her hair.

‘Third bath of the day & they’re still not out!’

The bath came just a day after the vote controversy prior to Adele’s departure.

Moments before the radio presenter was told she would be leaving the jungle, host Ant McPartlin revealed that votes cast on the app wouldn’t be counted.

Fans of the hit ITV show were left furious following the shock news and claimed that the programme was ‘fixed’ to ensure Adele was evicted.

Viewers took to Twitter to lament ITV’s decision and claim that the whole vote should have been void and replaced with a double eviction during the next show.

One said: ‘So what was the wording error? ‘If you don’t vote out Adele or Nadine, no votes will count’ probably the 2 most genuine people in there and quite popular by the looks of it. Should to been voided and a double elimination another day instead! #fix #imaceleb.’

Furious! The bath came just a day after the vote controversy on the show which left users of ITV's app unable to vote, prompting furious tweets from viewers

Another said: ‘Wording error? Well that’s clearly a false flag… whatever one of those is #ImACelebrity2019.’

One viewer tweeted Ofcom and said: ‘Come on, people clearly not happy. You can’t just say app votes won’t count due to a wording error.’

Another said: ‘It said because of a wording error. Ant and Dec said that you were voting who you save. I can only imagine that the app stated that the vote would be for someone to leave rather than stay.’

While one person said: ‘What a fixed vote, Cliff obviously should have been out first, done nothing! ‘a wording error in the app’, what s****. I love this programme but all very iffy when it comes to voting people out.’

Adele was in the bottom two alongside former Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, after Ian Wright, Myles Stephenson and James Haskell managed to gain immunity.

In her final challenge, Adele and her camp mates had to sit in a bath in which blood began gushing from the plug.

As they did so, guts began falling from the ceiling, with footballer Ian Wright unable to contain himself as he audibly gagged at the smell.

Adele was seen grimacing in the blood and guts-filled bath as she attempted to deal with the gruesome challenge.

After leaving the jungle she told Ant and co-host Declan Donnelly that she feels changed following the experience and she is stronger than she realised.

She said: ‘Something as small as seeing a spider in the jungle won’t bother me now.’

Explaining her decision to take a picture of Jane McDonald in, she said: ‘When it’s early in the morning and I have to get up early in the morning she [Jane] just makes me happy.
