I’m A Celeb’s Tiffany breaks down in tears as she quits

It’s the show where stars are forced out of their comfort zones as they camp out in the South African jungle.

But facing her fears proved too much for former 80s pop star Tiffany on Wednesday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The 46-year-old became emotional when she was tasked with a challenge that involved her trying to place an oversized egg in a nest while dangling from great heights.

‘Weak as p*ss!’: I’m A Celebrity’s Tiffany breaks down in tears as she QUITS… but fans have little sympathy for the emotional singer’s plight

As campmates Anthony Mundine and Josh Gibson enthusiastically dressed as birds to tackle the trial, Tiffany got teary and was hesitant to take it on.

A psychologist takes the clearly emotional singer aside for debrief and asks Tiffany how she’s feeling.

‘It’s too much for me,’ the I Think We’re Alone Now star blubbered. ‘And then I felt guilty because everybody else can do stuff and I can’t. And I just feel awful. It just feels awful. It feels awful.’

Couldn't handle the pressure: After being consoled by a psychologist, Tiffany said the words 'I'm a celebrity, get me out of here. I can't do it!' to avoid doing the trial

Later, she fronted hosts Julia Morris and and Dr Chris Brown, with the comedian telling the singer: ‘Tiffany, these challenges are set up to push us to our limits and to make us face our fears.’

Julia continued: ‘We do not in any way want to make you do anything that you don’t want to do. Please forgive me when I have to ask you this question – are you going to do the challenge or are you going to say those words?’

Admitting it was too much for her, Tiffany exclaimed: ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here. I can’t do it!’

Luckily for her, Dr Chris Brown stepped in to save the day, finishing the trial on her behalf.

'She should have at least try and not chicken out': Fans had little sympathy for her plight

But viewers had little sympathy for Tiffany’s plight which saw her quit the challenge but not the entire show.

‘SOFT!!! Weak as p**s!’ one irate fan tweeted.

‘Tiffany needs to go. So unfair everyone else in camp gives the ticker trials a go unlike her. She should have at least try and not chicken out. So ridiculous over her,’ another added.

Another angry viewer offered: ‘Go home! The lady said “youve done so much” she hasn’t done anything…. what had some sh*t thrown on her like EVERYONE ELSE’
