Most recently, the businesswoman was praised for detailing how she sets up her fridge – beginning by explaining that her family keeps things like fruits and vegetables in the door
‘I’ve seen the fridges on this app. This is far less impressive, but I’m still going to walk you through how we organize it,’ Sarah noted at the beginning of her clip.
The mom-of-two then explained her family keeps items like fruits and vegetables in the door of the fridge so they can use them more often.
She added: ‘In the door we keep either fruits and vegetables we want to eat more of or things that tend to go bad fast in our fridge if we don’t see them often.
‘We always keep lettuce and greens up here because those go bad in our fridge so fast, and things like easy-to-grab fruits.’
In the drawer, which she notes is usually where people tend to keep vegetables, she and her family keep the foods that take longer to expire.
Sarah explained: ‘In what is typically considered a crisper drawer for vegetables, we keep things that last longer and therefore can be kind of out of sight, out of mind.
‘So, cheeses, meats, larger jarred items like olives and salsas and such.’
Lastly, instead of placing condiments in the fridge door, Sarah uses a lazy Susan turntable to organize them.

‘I, like everybody’s grandmother who shops at Costco, have an ungodly amount of open condiments at all times.
‘So, these don’t even fit in [the door] and I prefer them like this anyway,’ Sarah said at the end of her video.
And viewers were quick to rush the comments section to brand her hack as ‘genius’ and ‘so smart.’

According to Feeding America, 119 billion pounds of food is thrown away each year, which is equal to 130 billion meals and over $408 billion in food.

And, with the cost of living soaring due to rising inflation, families are continuing to crack down on waste.
Many have suffered due to inflation, which has caused the prices of basic goods to skyrocket – including the prices of meat and poultry up by 10.4 per cent, cereal up 15.1 per cent, and fruits and vegetables up 8.1 per cent.
According to consumer data firm Dunnhumby, one third of households are skipping meals or reducing their portion sizes to save money.
Researchers found that 18 per cent of the survey’s 2,000 participants noted they were not getting enough food to eat.
Furthermore, 31 per cent of households have reduced their portion sizes due to empty pantries as a result of rising grocery store prices.
