Humans are, by nature, rather odd creatures.
But, as a newly-curated gallery of social media images proves, some people take that natural inclination to rather bizarre extremes.
Whether it’s pushing the boundaries of physicality by twisting their bodies into weird shapes, or risking life and limb for the sake of a joke, the behavior exhibited in the picture is sure to stun even the most broad-minded of viewers.
Among the craziest examples there is a rather adventurous driver who, when it came to transporting a second vehicle, chose to eschew a more traditional towing method in favor of tying the large car in a rather precarious fashion to the bed of his pick-up truck.
Meanwhile one devoted pet owner opted to pay tribute to their late dog, not by stuffing it in the more conventional manner, but instead by using the hide of the animal in order to make a rug.
And, believe it or not, that’s just the beginning…
Wait, what? Rather than simply towing this second vehicle, the driver of the white pick-up truck thought it would be a better idea to tie it to his own car sideways

Driving blind! When the sun makes it tricky to see the road ahead, it makes sense to use something to shade your eyes – although perhaps not something quite so large
Claiming their territory: It is unclear what prompted these men to set up their living room furniture in the middle of a busy street, but one thing is clear – they’re not moving for anyone
When once is not enough: This woman riding the New York City subway was perhaps was clearly keen to make sure her legs were as crossed as can be, showing off some impressive flexibility in the process
Who needs a van! Nothing was going to stop this man from transporting his wooden pallets, not a lack of trunk space, nor the threat of a terrible car accident
Huh? This picture is so bizarre it is impossible to explain
How creative! Peeling a banana can be a real pain, so why not try out this far more complex – but much more elegant – method for enjoying your favorite fruit instead?
Nature or nurture? It’s not quite clear whether this squirrel’s brightly-colored fur was as the result of his own mishap, or a cheeky person playing a prank, but whatever the reason behind it, the tiny creature certainly made an impact
