Iman, Carre Otis, Beverly Johnson and Carolyn Murphy shine at the CFDAs

The splashy CFDA Fashion Awards that took place in New York City on Wednesday evening brought out some of the biggest names in the modeling business from decades past.

Veterans took over the red carpet at The Pool Restaurant to prove that they still have what it takes to make a lasting impression.

Among the greats were Iman, 66, Carre Otis, 53, Beverly Johnson, 69, and Carolyn Murphy, 47.

Iman looked elegant in a black belted and sleeveless gown that made her look regal. She added platform heels.

The widow of China Girl crooner David Bowie swept her raven hair up in a fancy ‘do with heavy bangs while her diamond jewelry dazzled.

She posed alone as she held her gray mini clutch purse.

Iman is a 66-year-old from Somalia who has posed for Gianni Versace, Thierry Mugler, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan and Yves Saint Laurent.

The star has two children: Alexandria Zahra Jones and Zulekha Haywood.

Carre Otis showed off her tall frame in a nicely tailored winter white suit that had a pocketed blazer and roomy slacks.

The Wild Orchid star added a black camisole.

And she also had on pretty and long drop earrings. Black heels and a silver clutch purse rounded out her look.

Her hair was pulled back and her makeup was dewy.

In August she filed a lawsuit in New York on Thursday where she claimed she was raped by an executive for Elite Model Management when she was 17 years old.

According to the lawsuit, she says she was discovered by a modeling scout in 1985 and then moved to New York City in 1986, which was encouraged by John Casablancas, the agency’s founder .

He died in 2013.

She moved to Paris for work and lived with Gerald Marie, the head of Elite’s European division. She claimed he raped her repeatedly.
