An Indiana wedding descended into chaos which saw the groom and another man in jail, while a third man ended his night in the hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand.
The groom, Corey Parker, was arrested on May 18 outside the Cornerstone Hall, in Salem, Indiana, shortly after celebrating his nuptials.
But the party saw police arrive at the reception after a guest called 911 to report how Parker had shot her boyfriend following a confrontation and fight with another man, Jonathon Goff.
Parker told police how the drama kicked off after his bride, Bethany Parker, had left the wedding venue to go back to the Cobblestone Hotel with Goff’s wife, Nicole.

Parker explained how Goff had argued with his own wife after being accused of flirting with the wife of the shooting victim, Patrick McIntosh.
Just as Parker was about to leave, he and Goff began fighting one another in the parking lot.
Parker was in his car when Goff approached him aggressively. Parker claimed he thought Goff was trying to grab his gun from the car’s center console.
It was during the struggle while both men had their hands on the gun when it suddenly went off, shooting McIntosh in the hand. He was not seriously injured.
Parker said he did not know where McIntosh had appeared from but assumed he was trying to intervene in the struggle over the gun.

Parker said that he did not pull the trigger but had reached for the weapon because Goff was ‘beating the c**p’ out of him.
‘In all the rustle and bustle, the gun went off,’ Parker said.
McIntosh’s girlfriend was the one to call 911 and explained to the Indiana State Police how she believed it was a drunken mishap and that she and everyone else were all drunk.
Parker has continued to maintain that the shooting was accidental and faces charges for punching Goff in the face and for the reckless shooting.
Both men were arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail.
Parker now faces charges of battery and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. Marriage license records reveal that Parker and his wife have been legally married since 2022.
Parker pleased not guilty in court and released on a $3,000 cash bond.
Goff was also arrested on the very same charges of battery and criminal recklessness. He has also pleaded not guilty and received a $3,000 cash bond.
Both men had visible injuries and witnesses stated that they had been fighting.
The pair will go on trial in September but are due back in court next month.
